FHE with the Bournes.

I was lesson. I showed them this youtube. It was the youtube that spread like wild fire last November in the spirit of Thanksgiving. It's a great one. I think Mormon Messages (i love that youtube channel btw!) should have more kid related ones. My nieces and nephews would love to watch them. They love to watch Spiritual Crocodiles....as do I. But then FHE would be Youtube every week. ha.

Anyway we each said something we were thankful for. Then I challenged them to say 2 things they are thankful for in their nightly prayers that they haven't thanked Heavenly Father for in a while. I think this lesson was more for me then them. As I need a reminder to Count My Blessings. I have so much to be thankful for!

+ i went to utah last weekend. and it was so so good. so good to have a mini vacation. so good to be in utah! so good to see best friends and family. we went to jane boyers wedding and it was gorgeous! layed poolside with kimberly and jane. picked raspberries with annie and quinn and went to lunch. annie's garden is Amazing!!! visited my old job. ate at sawadee with friends. went to my grandma's house and she treated us to lunch. bridal shower for tara. karaoke at the highlander! breakfast at egan's. went to my old ward. it was all just so good.

+ fall is here and i'm happy about it. what should i be for halloween??

+ todays Oprah had me crying.

+ my ipod isn't working. bummed about that.

+ found out that there was fraud in my checking account!!! $3,500! the creep spent it in europe at some resort. terrible! and such a hassle! and a tad scary! i'll get the $ back with in 10 days. but i have to fill out paperwork and it probably won't be finalized for another 90 days. bad luck feels never ending.

+ but guess what happened?! best news i've heard in a while. the Robbers were CAUGHT! you know...the robbers that have stolen from me, jane, and maggie while hiking. twice (maggie and me once, jane twice) ! well we think/hope that these are the guys. even if their not it feels good to hear bad guys are busted!

i spent the weekend in SLC. (ilovethisplace)
saturday morning we had breakfast with friends. whole wheat crepes with all the toppings you could think of.
it was delightful!

surprise ball

growing up my mom would make surprise balls for birthday parties and christmas. we still make them every christmas for my nieces and nephews and they are a HIT. everytime.

Egan had a birthday yesterday so I sent her a surprise ball. This one was more 'grown up' compared to the kids ones (bobbi brown makeup and some serious cash) but I still added surprises likes silly bandz, gum, pop rocks, fruit snacks, pin buttons.




happy birthday egan. you're the best older sister a girl could ask for. cool. funny. stylish. talented. confident. beautiful. smart. determined. hardworking......and hot.

back2school

back 2 school time!
my roommates start school tomorrow and i couldn't resist putting together a little package. it's really cute to see them pick out outfits and pack their backpacks, and talk about what friends are in their class. i kinda miss being a tike and doing all of that.

so this morning they woke up to a box of crackers, fruit leather, pencil, silly bandz.

ah! these kids! ijustlovethemsomuch!

jackson. he's all grown up and stuff. going into middle school. he's at that cute age where he likes to be apart of the adult conversations but still is such a kid. it's cute. i love it when one of his siblings do something silly and i look at jackson and we can just laugh about it. he's so great.

tanner. that boy is such a sweetie. he's usually up in the morning when i am getting ready. we'll sit down and watch the today show together. i love it when he calls my name when i'm in a different room because he wants me to come sit with him. he's such a cuddler.

and campbell. that girl is the best part of my day. the sweetest. prettiest. happiest baby ever. she's a real pro a rolling too.
the other baby...that's houston. their adorable cousin. with the best head of hair.

there's just so many babies in my life.
not complaining.
