Every year my Mom along with Jane and I make surprise balls for the kids to unravel. They are just as much fun for us as they are for the kids. We fill them with all sorts of things... money, little toys, stickers, candy, etc.
The kids were in the zone as they unraved the crate paper to see what would fall out next. 
I love traditions like these!
