I've been working on some pillows lately. I really love pillows. Lots and Lots of pillows. I like them piled on my bed and sitting on a couch or chair. I love how they can bring some color to a space. Here are some log cabin style pillow that I've made. I'm going to put them on our etsy shop soon.

Thank you Salt Lake City! Thank you for the blue skies and the spring air. Today was beautiful. Sure it rained randomly in the middle of the day but it cleared up and man, it was gorgeous. What a pretty place I live.

Spring is so colorful...and so is my room. Thanks to the stacks of fabric and a pretty blanket on the end of my bed. I can't seem to keep my room clean though. There are just too many projects going on. Jane and I have turned half our room into a 'studio.' Its fun crafting with the twin. I love it.

In other news...This cool cat comes into town tomorrow. I can't wait!

nuts and bolts, nuts and bolts...

Presidents Day was productive. One of the many errands we ran on Monday was to Home Depot. Us three girls in home depot trying to describe to 4 different men what we need to fix our table and couch was...um...hilarious. They were very helpful though. So Monday night we got to work. Thanks to our handy-man friend John and his many tools we got a lot done in one night. Maggie was a sport and made another run to home depot to get some more stuff (don't know what anything is called). And good thing she did cause her good looks and charm got some good service at HD!!

Our house is coming along very nice. We love it here in SLC. I will show you pictures soon! I ordered some art prints from etsy today to hang on my wall. Excited!!

Opps I feel on my ice

Monday night was a multi ward FHE. We went ice skating at the Gallivan Center! It was so fun to do something 'wintery' but I am definitely ready for Spring. Bring on the warm weather!

Saturday was a great day! I received a rad v-day package from my girl Livi. She sent me and my roommates yummy candy, a cd mix full of fun love songs (i love livi's mixes), heart stickers, crispy cream doughnut certificate, and a RAD lipstick pen (kinda obsessed with it). So thanks Livi! You are so sweet and thoughtful.
Saturday afternoon Egan, Jane, and I met my bro-in-law for lunch. He was in town from CA for his brothers mission homecoming. I loved visiting with him and I loved receiving a package from my sisters family. It was so darling! I've been enjoying the candy all week and I love looking at the sweet card from them that is on my fridge.

And Mom, thanks for your package. We all loved the fun-dip! You are cute!

Happy Valentine's Week! What a fun holiday! I found some inspiration via Martha Stewart and Inchmark which helped me get in the mood. I wish I had things to decorate my house for the holiday. I've been enjoying yummy V-day candy from Harmons...grapefruit balls, and cinnamon hearts. Yum!

Custom Orders

I've been making custom order pillows lately. It gets me excited when people like what I make!

I am also very excited about this weekend. I have girlfriends coming in town and we have a weekend jam packed with fun. Oh boy!

Flower Power

On Saturday Maggie and I went with my sister Egan and her roommate Rebecca to the opening of her friends floral shop. It was such a fun night. The floral arrangements throughout the shop were breath-taking. I wish I could afford to have fresh flowers in my house all the time.

Friday Night was Sushi Night

On Thursday night I picked up my friend Maggie from the airport. She is my new roommate (we were roommates in Rexburg) here in SLC and I am so excited that she is here. I just love living with one of my best friends... such a blast. To take a break from unpacking and setting up our new place we met my sister Egan and friend (soon to be roommate) Kimberly at a sushi place in Sugarhouse. It was a great night!
