Saturdays

Most Saturdays you can find us at Riviera in San Clemente. It's the beesst. Whitney's daughter Sawyer is a beach champ. She can last almost longer then we can which is really hard to do. 

Saturday night you can occasionally find us at DJ Boom. He DJs at Sun Dried Tomatoes in San Clemente on Saturday nights. Most of the time we have the place ourselves and can dance like fools. But this night was cougar night, the ladies were out on the town! We always try to get a picture with Boom but he will Not let us and makes us take a picture in his DJ station or whatever you call it. ha. We're dorks.

Guicho's is one of our favorite places to eat. The other day we grabbed dinner to go and ate it at a look out park in Dana Point. It was one of those nights where I was reminded that I loove where I live and I love my girlfriends.  And I love a good chopped salad.

school work

I finished my semester at Saddleback. I took 4 classes and really loved each of them. I was excited to take a Graphic Design class and get introduced to Illustrator.. but I still feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. Anyway here are a couple of the first projects we did for the semester. The first one of just squares was really just to teach us how to mount and cut properly. And I give myself a fist pump because my teacher picked mine as her favorite. The black and white assignment was a challenge for me. I spent a lot of time on a piece that I messed up at the very end. But I actually liked how this turned out better. 

My final in GD was the restaurant project. We had to pull 3 words out of a bag to describe our restaurant. I pulled: Fun, Indian, Catering. We had to create a logo, tag line, menu, ad, and product package. 

I took a Fashion Illustration class and kinda felt silly taking it...because I am not planning to be a fashion designer but I actually appreciate the skills I learned in this class. Our final assignment was to create a fashion line with 14 pieces in 3 color ways. I used my party blogs name Attend for my brand :) and created pinterest boards for inspiration.

Earth Day at the Ecology Center

I discovered this place near by in San Juan Capistrano called The Ecology Center. And found out that they were having an Earth Day event. Jane was in town and I told a couple girlfriends to come and the Bournes met us their too. This place is incredible! They did a really cool job and had this scavenger hunt for kids that taught them all sorts of Earth Day knowledge. There was a band that sang and they were awesome.
