I had so much fun making my Christmas gifts this year. I made skirts for my nieces and a quilt for my brother-in-law. We pick names for Christmas and this year we all decided to make our own gifts. Yikes, it was hard. The guys hated the idea. It was so fun to see what everyone made though. It was really impressive. I would have been happy with any of the gifts. For the gift I was making I decided to make a quilt...my first one ever. I had so much fun making this quilt and learned a lot along the way. I am now addicted. My favorite part of the quilting process was learning how to use a Long arm machine. The machine is huge and you can free hand any design you wish and it quilts all the layers together - brilliant.
Enjoy

you are amazing. i love it. LAME i didn't see you over Christmas-- but it was def busy for both of us. What's the update on your life? I enjoyed your comment on my running blog post, but I really, really think you should run it with me this year. what do you say? And you can't say you aren't in shape enough to do it.. because I can't even run 3 miles right now. don't have babies.. they mess you up. just kidding!!
Okay, so I just ran across your site and saw these presents you made for Christmas. Hello, what a stud! Kristine, if I ever learn how to sew as well as you, it'll be a miracle, for sure.
