Sorry, can't and won't stop posting reunion pics. There are just too many goodies. It really doesn't get better then this....Good weather, great food, and all the people I love under one roof for a week! Ideal.

MFR 2011 Cousin Camp

On one afternoon during the reunion my parents did a little cousin camp. I helped a little bit but really just loved sitting back and watching. I like watching my parents teach the kids, play games with them, and take them on a treasure hunt.

My mom wrote this story about the life of an ancestor of ours, Ezra T. Benson. While my parents read the story the kids colored. They were so curious and interested! I'm sad that I didn't know these stories until now because they are really impressive.

They went on a treasure hunt. Had to look up a scripture then complete a task. Then they'd pick up a clue and head to the next spot.

Last they were handed shovels and off to dig for treasure.

MFR 2011. Boating

The Metcalf Family Reunion was at Bear Lake this year. I'd never been to Bear Lake before. It's gorgeous! And it made me miss the Idaho summers from my college days. It was such a fun week and I loved loved loved being with my whole family. We spent hours boating everyday and it never got old.

I invited Jackson and Tanner to spend the night last night. They are the best! I loved having time with just them. We hit up golden spoon and got a red box. When we were walking up to the grocery store Tanner goes "Oh great, we're wearing the same pants." Ha. He was so annoyed. I'll take them anytime..matching pj bottoms and all.

I spent last week in Bear Lake with the fam. It was amazing! Post vacation is sooo hard. I miss my family and I'd love to just have boat days and dance parties every day.
