Before Maggie and Em left I took them to Montage for a nice stroll and the best view! And some group pics.

Weekend Visit: Maggie and Emily

Maggie and Emily visited for a weekend!! I was so giddy about it. We started Saturday morning off with acai bowls in Laguna and went up to Shaws Cove to then realize that it was high tide and there was no beach. So we went back down to Dana Point and went to Strands instead. 

That evening we met up with our friends Jeff and Richard at Crystal Cove to eat at Beachcomber and that was the best idea!!! It was gorgeous and just before sunset. I'd only eaten breakfast there before but dinner was just as good. By the end of dinner Maggie and Jeff were making a list of options for the rest of the night. We ended up with Gelato and stroll though Laguna and in HB for a fire and hang out with that crowd. Mike was nice enough to do the introducing of Maggie and Emily to this group. Which they handled like champs. I loved it.

so long sweet summer

After our family reunion in Heber, UT this summer most of my family drove up to Seattle to hang out at my parents house. I was one of the ones that did Not go. :( but I spied these pictures on my sisters computer and I couldn't resist posting. Summery Seattle days makin me homesick.

But Hello Fall! (can't believe it's october! it's still 100 degrees here)

Disneyland with Campbell

I had to document my Disneyland trip with Campbell. She was so excited.. like "peace out Mom and siblings I'm going to D-n-yand with Teen" (basically what she said). Her face at the Dumbo ride was real and she get gasping really loud. I was laughing so hard. And tea cups! oh gosh so good. Then she wanted popcorn really bad and just sat her self down to enjoy. Probably ate 25 cents of the $4 popcorn.  At the end of the night we met up with Cami and her niece and nephew for a ride on Pirates!

Sunday while my mom and Egan were here we had a birthday dinner for Egan (see more on Attend). It was fun to put on a little party for her and the kids liked being a part of the celebrating. We walked around Montage after and came back for a grilled fruit dessert. (no pics of Dave, dang it)

A day that includes tennis, beach, home made pizza, and ice cream is a day I'd like on repeat.

My mom and Egan came to town for a weekend and it was hot hot hot. We spent as much time as possible at the beach. Three arch all day then we went to downtown Laguna that night for dinner at Nicks. (so good! get the peach cobbler!).
