More pics from the Paris party. forget cake. We had Crepes! nutella, berries, and whipped cream. (the girls in their paint shirts) All this Paris talk and I'm cravin' another Europe trip. bad!
this weekend my sister jen and i put on a birthday party for Saylor Jane. she just turned 7 last week. if you know saylor, you know that there are two things she really loves... treats of any kind and art/crafts. (my kind of girl!) so we incorporated the two and put on a Paris themed birthday party.
signage inspired by oh happy day. They painted a Still Life. They ate as the Parisians do. 13 of the cutest girls in Orange County. Aleisha (saylor's aunt on the Bourne side) taught an etiquette class. Dave took pictures at the photo booth. When the girls arrived they wrote postcards to a friend or someone they love. still more pics to come...
i've been working on getting my bedroom together. i found a dresser today at Salvation Army. score! and my mom sent me 2 lamps that Jane had refurbished, they're gorgeous. So it's gradually coming together. But really, it's just nice to see my stuff again!
Should I be sorry that it's mid November and I still have more Halloween pics to blog? Didn't think so.
I went to Pumpkin City, again. This time was with the Bournes for FHE. Then on Halloween night we had the mystery dinner. Ohhh myyy! it was so cool/fun/totally awesome. Jens goal was to make it as spooky as possible. I wish you could've heard Jens witch voice. Incredible.
Lady Fingers: Melted Witch (we copied the one Egan did for the Porter's mystery dinner): The dessert was my job... Graveyard Delight: Swamp Juice: Mummy Head: Menu: Not pictured: Frankenstein's Special (broccoli soup), Zombie Eyes (carrots cut round with olives)
