lunch dates are my fave

this has been the week of lunch dates.

today, i picked my mom up from the airport and we met Egan, Benson, and Lindsey at Carlucci's for lunch. so fun to visit with my bro and sis in law...I hate that they live so far away. they'll be in seattle this summer for an internship so hopefully i can get there for a visit.

i took a half day at work yesterday. i needed to come home and pack.

but guess What?

our house got broken into.

they broke the window to our downstairs bathroom. climbed through the window.

then went to my room to open that window... i'm assuming thats how they went out.

they went through my room. stole my (new) mac book and an old laptop.

they went through kimberly's room...stole her camera.

they went through the living room and stole our TV (it didn't really work anyway. HA)

they went through maggie's room. stole her mac book and cell phone charger (so stupid)

and left blood on her sheet and shelf. ew!

they went through janes room and stole nothing. lucky dog.

i'm thinking of starting a paypal account for donations to buy me a new mac book. kidding. not really. but kinda.

oatmeal cause i love you

i got up early and made breakfast for my roommates. we only have a couple more days together and i'm just not sure what i'll do with out them. cause i have it good here!

jane, maggie, and i stopped by a charity ball that a girl in our ward put together. we had other obligations that night (my going away party. duh!) so we figured we'd stop in, drop off our canned goods, say some hellos and peace. but once we walked in and the band started it was hard to pull us away from the dance floor. too bad we didn't wear our formals cause we really stuck out. opps.

we celebrated Kimberly's 25th this week. all week.

gluten free angel food cake. the birthday girl made it herself. she's got mad GF skills.
GF brownies, fruit kabobs, smores, salted toffee chocolate squares. we love treats.

8 days

i leave in 8 days. crazy.

on saturday my friends threw myself and jane boyer (she moved to san fran this weekend) a 'Don't Go!' Going Away Party. It was so fun to see all my favorite people. But so sad too. Dang, I love this place and I love my friends. It just can't possibly get better then this. Serious.

Jane (the twin) made paper airplanes so people could write us little notes...
