my 3rd weekend in a row going to LA. and i'm not mad about it. love it actually! this time Brandon Stone came to town (add his tumblr to your reader. !!) Rory and I met him in LA. we ate falafels and walked around the Getty. ohh the getty!!! how have i never been? gorgeous gorgeous. and it was in the 80's yesterday...thank you california!

after the getty we met up with more friends in westwood. it was an SLC reunion and i loved it.

Brooklyn turned 5 last week! Saturday Jen invited me to join her, Saylor, and Brooklyn to The Grove in LA. We got lunch at Cheesecake Factory and then hit up the American Girl Doll store.

Brooklyn got Julie from her Grandma Bourne. (julie is cool! so hippie) They both picked out some things for their dolls. Every little girls dream, is that store.





I got Brooklyn this 5 balloon for her birthday. Don't you want one for your birthday?

disneyland

Monday after Christmas we went to Disneyland. I was a little worried about the crowds, and it was busy, but it was so fun and so worth it! We got on lots of rides thanks to Dave and fast passes. Disneyland at Christmas is pretty magical especially with my family.

We ran into Alex and his brothers minutes after getting there. Love seeing SLC friends.
The Chrismas decor in Small World was awesome. I love the reindeer faces.

nothing comes close to the golden coast

jimmy and tucker made a trip from SLC to LA for the Rose Bowl. they do this guy trip every year. i spent Friday with them and it was Great. glad they let me tag along. these dudes know how to vacation...

we drank tea at Urth.

we hit up Jack Spade and other shops in Venice.

we walked around Muscle beach and watched the skateboarders at Venice Skate park.

we ate lunch at Kogi. A korean bbq food truck. Cool!!

we went to UCLA. it was a gorgeous day and that campus is a beaut!

we stood in line at Diddy Riese and it was worth the wait. !!

i need to crash dude trips more often.

game changer

we didn't get to play as much tennis as we hoped...due to the sickness that spread like wildfire. but i'm glad we got to play 1 time.

New Years goal: get better at tennis!

mormon battalion

After church on Sunday we went to Old Town San Diego to go to the Mormon Battalion exhibit. It was so cool! I loved it! The sister missionaries were so cute and did a really good job taking us through the exhibit. So if you're in the area, go!
