Relay for Life

Friday night I went to the Relay for Life to support my bro-in-law Kenyon. It's a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

Here's me. Eating popcorn And cotton candy. I couldn't resist. It was only 1 ticket. And it helps fight cancer...right?

My sister Egan and I walked/ran/danced around the track for an hour. We were practicing our SYTYCD moves. I'm getting really good! (oh and i can't wait for the show to start again in a month!!)

Sewing Classes cont.

I love teaching my sewing classes. Each week is a new group and it's so fun to see them progress.

I've been teaching the girls to use the serger. At first they are very nervous but by the end of the week it's their favorite thing to use. I love my serger!!

The last project I have them make a little stuffed owl pillow. They learn to do a zig zag stitch and hand sew.

I helped Jane set up her classroom last week. Well, I don't think I really helped that much I mostly sat and ate tootsie rolls. She has a big glass jar of them and I couldn't resist.

Her classroom is looking really cute. Makes me want to be in 1st grade again. kind of.
