Mexico Part 3

The really perfect weekend didn't stop. We left the pool to get tacos and stopped by the flea market to shop a little, lots of treasures to find there (lots of wack stuff too). For dinner we went out to the "Why Not! Steak House." That place is awesome. Their home made tortillas are money and they have butter and cinnamon sugar to sprinkle on. We couldn't stop eating that.

When we were done with dinner we walked outside to discover that drag races were to start on the main road it a couple minutes. It Was Nuts! Shauna and Whitney both started one of the races which was the funniest coolest thing. Happens every Saturday night in case you're in Rosarito. :)

Mexico part 2 - Poolside

This trip was documented unlike any other. Mike, that dream photographer. We spent the day lounging by the pool. It was unbeliebeable. The pool just sits there over the ocean and we could watch surfers all day. We packed great pool side snacks (like frozen twix!), had races in the pool, and got the best tans of the summer.

Mexico Part 1

A group of us went to Mexico for a quick weekend getaway. My friend Tyler has a place is Rosarito and it fit 10 of us perfectly. We didn't want this trip to end. It was perfection. Half of us arrived early early Saturday morning (only a 1 1/2 - 2 hrs to Rosarito from my house). It was a little foggy and lots of cloud cover when we arrived. We woke up the house of our sleeping friends, we were ready to start the day! Tyler took us on a tour of the place and we got ready to play tennis but the courts were taken all morning so it was table tennis instead. By the time we were done the sky was clear and it was pool time..

Desserts in San Diego

Extraordinary Desserts in San Diego is brilliant. It is open late and filled with so many fancy desserts (for a good price too). There are glass casings filled with dessert options. We each picked one and shared. I think the bread pudding was a crowd favorite.

I love it when my girlfriends visit! They are the best people, interesting to talk to and smart and funny. And always make me feel like a million bucks.

Lez and Emily flew in and we all went to Zinc cafe in Laguna for breakfast. That place is good and a darling spot for breakfast. Later we paddle boarded in Dana Point and went to Strands for the rest of the day. It was a hot gorgeous day.
