Lake Powell

The last week of June I went to Lake Powell with a group from my ward. I'd never been before but I get now why people rave about it. It is so so gorgeous. And everything a Summer vacation should be...sleeping outdoors, playing all day long, beautiful scenery, and amazing food. We about 18 people on the house boat and I loved our group because it was a lot of people I hadn't spent very much time with but loved becoming friends with them and hanging all week.

Devin and Kellie's Wedding

Our friends in the ward, Devin and Kellie, got married on Thursday. I always love it when two friends of mine marry each other. They are a great pair and it was fun to celebrate the wedding with friends. And it gives me hope for singles wards :)

The reception was at the Aliso Viejo Country club and it was a gorgeous warm Summer night.  

OC Fair

Spent last Saturday night at the Fair. Our group all got in the Gravitron and it Worked us! We toppled out of that thing and were laughing so hard but felt so awful at the same time.

Summer is flying by to fast guys.

Last Day in Seattle

I didn't want to leave. Being home was just too good. My last day home we went to Greenlake for a brisk stroll and even got some Seattle rain on my last day. perfect. We ended up going back to the Chihuly exhibit but this time to hit up the Collections Cafe at the exhibit. Oh MY! It was the Cooolest. So glad we went. Dale Chihuly is a collector and this cafe has 28 or so of his personal collections. Which he also personally placed how he wanted in the cafe. Each table had a shadow box type of thing and showed a collection in it. Then the ceilings and walls were decorated with collections too. So rad! 

Pike Place

Pike Place Market is one of my favorite places. My mom and I went one afternoon when I was home. We got greek food for lunch, ate a container of rainier cherries as we walked through the Market, and finished with the best mini donuts ever ever. So we ate our way through Pike Place.
