Campbell's Flower Party Part 1

campbell cannon bourne turned 1. and i love any excuse to put on a party. jen and i wanted to make it simple...she is only 1 after all. we thought flowers would be a perfect theme for this little spring girl.

the lady of the hour:
a floral romper?! get out of town!


Dave grilled the chicken (oh so good). also on the menu: fruit skewers, artisan bread, pasta salad primavera, dirt cups and sugar cookies for dessert.
Party prep:
this miight be my favorite part of the party. we made sugar cookies on sticks and stuck them in a pot with moss. and the cookies tasted really good. sugar cookie recipe found here
butcher paper table runner. egan chalked a floral design like 2 seconds before the party started.

egan came for a quick weekend visit. do you realize i live for visitors? heck, i have another one coming this weekend!(hi annie belle!) we always have a good time when egan is around. we hot tubbed, watched byu lose, ate pho, shopped, went to nephew's baseball games, had a party for campbell, saw the movie The Last Lions (great movie btw), churched it up, etc.

i went to vegas last weekend for Kate and Regan's wedding. it was beautiful! and so good to see SLC friends.

btw, if you are ever in vegas looking for a place for breakfast go to Rise and Shine. it was a good idea.

happy birthday campbell!

i moved here when she was like 3 months old. now she's 1!! i love living so close to this baby girl and seeing her almost daily. i like that she knows me and reaches for me when i come to visit. it makes my day.

rexburg reunion

2003 seems like a long time ago. that's when i met these dream boats... it was Barnes Hall dorms at BYUi. we were roommates for a few years too. now christina is married with a baby boy and moving to Columbia! and ashley is married and a baby boy on the way! last week we made dinner plans and it was Great! to say the least. i'm looking forward to a few more dinner dates before they each move.

On Valentines day my receptionist called me to the front and handed my this cute little box and told me to look at my car. There were paper hearts everywhere! She said 2 little girls came and delivered these chocolates and said "don't tell her who came, this is a secret."

ali came to town for work, so i drove up to LA and we at a fancy meal at her hotel. it was so good to see her! i miss living just a few blocks away from each other. guess i'll have to plan a NY trip ....

we were only there for an hour before heading to the airport (barely making our flight). spotted a taping of Hawaii five-0.

5 days in Hawaii and such a great trip! cami was a great travel pal. sure love that girl! now i need to plan another vacation...
