a st. george christmas

i loved spending christmas with my family! so fun to be with (almost) everyone. christmas with kids is just SO much more fun.

what we do

My mom made a game of Memory by using old christmas cards. kids are so good at the game.

The kids decorated mini graham cracker houses.

We saw the lights at the St. George temple. So pretty! (most of the boys stayed home to watch the BYU game)

we've been in st. george for the past week. celebrating christmas. making kid crafts. eating.

 hot tubing. playing tennis. watching movies. etc.

Zoooo Lights!

We went to the Zoo Lights last weekend. Hogle Zoo knows what's up! (and so does Kate. thanks for the invite)

So pretty and christmasy

sew my brains out

I spent a lot of hours sewing last week. (why did i wait til the last minute to get these projects done?)

A lady wanted me to make her and her daughter matching aprons for Christmas.

And I made 10 pj pants for my nieces and nephews.

"don't think she's dumb, cause she's smart"

that's what my nephew said to my mom when she got to salt lake. referring to Quinn. 

she is a smartie. and a cutie. and i love her.

We did a Christmas Breakfast (for dinner) and a Favorites party last week. It was so much fun! I want to do it again!

The food was Amazing. You just can't go wrong with breakfast.  And the company, where do I start? Love these girls!

For the favorites party everyone brought a favorite thing under $5. They brought 5 of that favorite thing. We drew names and gave away our favorite thing to those 5 people. We all went home with 5 little gifts. I loved seeing what people brought!

My favorite thing. Anthropologie bowls. And they happen to be $5 exactly. boom.

Egan made us bento bowls. I'd never had one before. I loved it! So fresh and so yum. 

so typical. egan and i do all the work. and jane talks on the phone and looks through jcrew. real cool.

Wall Art

Amy Butler is non stop. I just got an email today about her Wall Art. Her fabric really is pretty enough to frame.

In fact, I'm framing some fabric today... to add some art to my walls.
