Happy Birthday Jen!

Today is my sister Jens birthday. Yay. I wish I was in California so I could take her out to lunch and make her a pretty cake but that will just have to wait until I move there in January. Jen is so fun to be around. She is an amazing mom, wife, sister, friend, daughter, etc. I look up to her more then she'll ever know. I had a great summer because I lived with her and her family for 7 weeks and then we spent a week in New York together.
Happy Birthday Jen! May this year be the best yet.

Thank You Thanksgiving

Oh I had so so so much fun at home. I loved every minute of it. Thank you Dad for flying us home! I needed a break and I needed family time. We shopped, ate, relaxed, went to two UW volleyball games, and I even did homework. Yay. I also sewed my life away working on some Christmas gifts and I am so super excited about how they are turning out. So thank you Thanksgiving for letting me have a break from school and giving time with my family. And now I am off to the gym. ha ha

i am grateful for...

a job that lets me sew! Working at the sewing lab on campus is the BEST. I can do homework, work on my countless sewing projects, and test my knowledge of sewing while answering students questions(that last part is the hardest). Last night I finished my 3rd apron and I think it's the cutest yet. After work I went to show my friend what I made and there was this random dude on her couch and he Laughed at me. What a punk! What is with guys that make fun of girls for sewing. Sheesh. Oh well. ha ha. I am proud of my creations.

P.S. I AM SO STINKIN EXCITED FOR SEASON 4 PROJECT RUNWAY TO START. TONIGHT! PARTY EVERY WED. NIGHT. BOO YA.

I am SO ready

We get a week off for Thanksgiving this year! Dang we are lucky. Thank you BYU-I. Jane and I are heading to Seattle on Saturday. I am so ready to play with my sisters and my parents all week long. And maybe I'll get to see some old friends. I am excited to cook with my mom, shop with the girls, get crafty in the basement, get warm by the fire, sleep is my comfy bed, and breath in the fresh Seattle air. I just hope I can survive this week. There is still so much to do before I leave. And I'll have to be productive over Thanksgiving break too. The school work load never seems to end. Sheesh.

What are you're Thanksgiving plans?

Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken

I think I've been watching this movie since the 2nd grade. I love it! Hits the heart everytime. It's a good Sunday afternoon movie to. So we rented it yesterday (VHS of course) and watched this afternoon with a living room full of girls. My roomate Kari and I made apple pie too with a crumble top. YUM. Ah man it was delish. I love Sundays!

bye bye October

What time is it? Party time! I loooove dressing up. So one might guess that I also love Halloween. My friends are hilarious and we had such a good time hitting up the parties in Rexburg. I was a roller girl one night and on Halloween I was a Chinese Ping Pong player. Random I know.

Our friend John came into town this weekend. It is so fun to see old friends. We went to the movies, ate good food, and played games. I love my friends!

Gap Ads

I love the holiday Ads for Gap. I think they're cute. Who doesn't love Jim from The Office?! And SNL stars Will and Amy who I think are super funny. It would be so fun to have a job in advertising!
